LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Publishroom, operated by Weilai Concept, handles personal data when an authorized user accesses the service, connects a social account, or schedules and publishes content.
1. Information we collect
- Publishroom account information, including your email address.
- Connected account information provided by social platforms, such as account IDs, usernames, profile details, pages, boards, and blogs.
- OAuth access and refresh tokens, permissions, and token expiry data.
- Media, captions, titles, descriptions, links, publishing settings, and schedules you submit.
- Operational information such as publishing status, API responses, error details, and security logs.
2. How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, connect and refresh social accounts, display available publishing destinations, store scheduled content, publish according to your instructions, show status, diagnose failures, secure the service, and maintain its operation.
3. How information is shared
Information is disclosed only as needed to operate Publishroom: to the social platforms you select for publishing; to infrastructure providers that host the application, database, and private media storage; and to an AI service only when you choose to generate a caption. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
4. OAuth tokens and security
Social platform tokens are encrypted before database storage and are used server-side to perform actions you request. Uploaded media is stored in private, platform-specific storage. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service is completely secure.
5. Retention and deletion
Connected account data and encrypted tokens are retained while the connection is active. Scheduled content is retained until it is published, deleted, or needed to investigate a publishing failure. Media and schedule text are deleted after successful publishing according to the destination platform's completion status. Limited operational records may remain where reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.
6. Your choices and rights
You can delete scheduled content, disconnect accounts in Publishroom, or revoke access through the relevant social platform. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data, or object to certain processing.
7. International processing
Service providers and social platforms may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international data transfers.
8. Children
Publishroom is a business publishing tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the service.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
10. Contact
Privacy questions or requests can be submitted through the Weilai Concept contact page.
