TikTok Direct Post workflow
TikTok access is initiated by the user and publishing occurs only after the user reviews current account capabilities and makes the required choices.
Account identification
The user.info.basic scope retrieves basic profile information so the user can recognize and confirm the connected TikTok account.
User-directed publishing
The video.publish scope is used to upload a user-selected video with FILE_UPLOAD after the user explicitly confirms the destination and post settings.
Required publishing choices
Before scheduling, the user manually selects privacy and reviews comment, Duet, Stitch, commercial-content and AI-generated-content settings.
Current creator capabilities
Publishroom checks Creator Info while preparing the post and again at publishing time, then follows TikTok's asynchronous publishing status.

Explicit actions
Publishroom does not publish merely because an account is connected. A user must prepare and schedule each post.
Protected credentials
OAuth tokens are encrypted before database storage and used server-side only for authorized operations.
Disconnect and delete
Users can disconnect social accounts, revoke platform access and delete scheduled or failed content.
